With an extended shell covering more of the helmet liner compared to the Octal the Octal X Mips benefits from enhanced strength properties at a very low weight. Features shared with the Octal include the extreme ventilation aerodynamic efficiency a unibody shell construction and an EPS liner as well as POCs proven aramid bridge technology giving extra strength and penetration protection. All these features come as part of our whole-helmet approach to design and construction in order to deliver superior levels of comfort fit and performance. The inclusion of Mips enhances the helmets rotational impact protection.
